Mission Statement

Historically the commitment to Quality, whether termed Quality Assurance or Quality Control has been imposed externally in the sense of a requirement to win business. Omni was founded by a degreed Materials Engineer with fifteen years experience as a Quality Control Engineer and Quality Control Manager at a major vendor within the aerospace industry serving NASA, USN, USAF, USA, Los Alamos, PWA, GE, Rolls Royce, ABB, Dresser, Elliott, and nearly every major turbine manufacturer. Fifteen years as a Quality Control Manager in aerospace is a long time to simply survive, let alone flourish.

During that fifteen year period of rigorous Cause/Corrective Action investigations within an industry undergoing tremendous technological changes, strong philosophies were formed about how a business should be managed. Consequently, as you tour our facility you will see that our commitment to Quality is not only voluntary but it is the foundation of our business. Fifteen years in the trenches teaches you that no amount of secondary inspection can create Quality: that is simply a culling operation. We select the proper machine tools based on accuracy, capability, controls, structure and the like. Material integrity is paramount in our operation.

At Omni the inspection function is one of confirmation not sorting. Every employee is properly trained to recognize process deviations; every employee is empowered and encouraged to stop any process as it approaches a borderline situation before a problem is created.

We are proud of ourselves. Our goal is not to be the biggest, simply the best at whatever we do.
